About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT), UAM/CSIC, in Madrid, where I conduct research in cosmology. My research focuses on developing machine learning techniques to address a wide array of problems in astrophysics and cosmology. Recently, I've been focusing on studies of cosmic topology and the anomalies of the cosmic microwave background. In addition, with my collaborators, I work on developing numerical methods for testing theories of modified gravity in cosmological and laboratory settings. I am also a member of several scientific collaborations, including COMPACT, DES, Euclid and the XMM Cluster Survey. Beyond cosmology, I apply machine learning to interdisciplinary challenges, such as developing algorithms to detect images of illegal wildlife product sales online.
